Illuminated natural toboggan run in St. Anton am Arlberg
Snow fun in St. Anton am Arlberg does not have to be limited to skiing or snowboarding. In the middle of the winter sports area also lures the local mountain Gampen with its four kilometer long natural toboggan run. The starting point at 1,850 meters can be reached comfortably from Nasserein by gondola. Once at the top, it's over a winding 500 meters back down into the valley. The sleigh ride, which is classified as medium-difficult but also suitable for beginners and families, takes around 15 minutes (secured with lateral snow belts).
The departure is open daily from 12 to 16:15 and floodlit, every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 19.30 to the last mountain drive at 21.30. If you like, you can return to live music at the Gampen Restaurant or halfway in the rustic toboggan hut. Alternatively, pedestrians can rent sledges here as well as in the rental stations directly at the Nassereinbahn or in all sports shops in St. Anton.
